The 2026 edition of the awesome Ford F-150 pickup is expected to be released in late 2025 or early in 2026. Reports indicate that the 2026 model will have essentially the same overall design as the current Ford F-150, the best selling vehicle in its class for an unprecedented 48 years in a row. The 2026 Ford F-150 is in its 14th generation it will continue to offer a remarkable number of engine and feature combinations. Exterior design highlights

Lower trim levels in the 2026 F-150 will continue to come with a simple design that includes horizontal turn signals, square headlights, a square grille and a rugged front bumper. The rear of the truck will continue to have triangular tail lights, a boxy rear end and a solid bumper. At higher trim levels, the F-150 for 2026 will have more exterior chrome along with R-shaped daytime running lights. Cab and bed options

Regular Cab versions of the 2026 Ford F-150 will continue to provide seating for three people across the bench. Super Cab models will come with small rear doors and a bench in the second row, raising the seating capacity to six people. SuperCrew models will come with full-size rear doors and seats, which makes it easier to enter and exit the bigger cabin. Every new 2026 Ford F-150 will have a bed that measures 21.4 inches in depth and 51.1 inches in width. Bed length options are 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet and 8.0 feet, while interior cargo volume options are 52.8 cubic feet, 62.3 cubic feet and 77.4 cubic feet.

2026 Ford F-150 engine specifications

The Ford F-150 for 2026 will continue to offer more powertrain options than just about any other pickup in its class. It all starts with a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 with 325 horsepower, followed by a 3.5-liter twin turbo V6 with 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The high-output version of the twin-turbo V6 will generate 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.

If you like getting the power of a V8, the Ford F-150 for 2026 will have a 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower as well as a 5.2-liter V8 with 720 horsepower and a mighty 640 pound-feet of torque in the Raptor R models. The 2026 Ford F-150 will also offer an available hybrid powertrain consisting of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, an electric motor and a small battery pack, with an output of 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.

Towing and payload capability

The 2026 Ford F-150 SuperCrew model with the 3.5-liter V-6, a 4x4 drivetrain, and a 6.5-foot bed has the highest tow rating, with capacity that tops out at 13,500 pounds. Regular Cab models have the greatest amount of hauling capability when equipped with the 3.5-liter V-6, rear-wheel drive, and an 8.0-foot bed. Technology

All versions of the 2026 Ford F-150 will reportedly carry over with a 12.0-inch digital instrument cluster. This screen can display two sets of information at once, like towing and off-road data. The F-150 is also expected to carry over with a standard horizontally oriented 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
